                        Water Valley Baptist church is having its 10th annual Toy Drive.

For a decade Water Valley Baptist has collected toys to give to boys and girls who families are struggling at this time of the year.   Each year, many generous people bring in new toys to be distributed to boys and girls around our West Texas area.   This year’s Christmas toy drive will end on December the 21st. Just in time to get presents distributed to local families by Christmas.   Are you able to buy a new toy for a girl or boy this Christmas season?   For more information.  Contact Brandy at 325-234-7860 or you may call KSCK at 325-895-1835.  Toys may be dropped off here at KSCK in Sterling City at 418 4th street.   You may also make a financial donation.  Send your donation to Water Valley Baptist Church. The Sterling City Christmas Stroll will take place Wednesday December the 5th beginning at 5:30 PM in in front of the sterling County Courthouse.  Events will begin with the reading of the Christmas story, Methodist children playing the bells,  Baptist Children will sing and bring a Christmas dance and the city Christmas tree will be lit.  The local businesses will remain open for the evening serving food and drink as citizens and visitors stroll about and go from business to business enjoying an evening of the Christmas Spirit and neighborly visitation.   Santa will be available for the children at the 1910 hotel.  So make plans to be in Sterling City for the Sterling City Stroll Wednesday December the 5th to celebrate Christmas it is an annual event that is always fun and heartwarming for the whole family

The Sterling Veterans and Citizens Foundation is holding a Steak and Date Dinner fundraiser.  It is a night of dinner, dance  and entertainment with Texas Country Artist Jay Dirks.  The event takes place Saturday December the 1st  at the Sterling City Community Center beginning at 7:PM.  Dinner is $25.00 and all proceeds go toward support and housing for the Veterans in Sterling City
